Northamptonshire Athletes had great Success at the 2017 English Schools Track & Field Championships at Birmingham on July 7th/ 8th
Emily Williams (KTH) was first in the Inter Girls 800m in 2:06.83
Adam Searle (R&N) won the Inter Boys 1500 Steeplechase in 4:20.84
Eleanor Brome (R&N) won the Senior Girls Long Jump in 6.08
The following week Emily and Adam were chosen to represent England in the SIAB ( Schools International Athletics Board) Track & Field International in Dublin on July 15th (SIAB)
Both won their events!!
Emily was first in the 800m in 2:07.85
Adam won the 1500 Steeplechase in 4:28.17
An Excellent effort by them all
Finally on September 1st at Loughborough Adam represented the Midlands in the 2017 UK Schools Games winning the 1500Steeplechase in 4:23.43
