A Successful 2022 County Champs took place at Corby on May 14/15 The Championship weekend was pleased to include the first presentation of the ROY FENN Memorial Shield. This was in recognition of Roy’s many years of involvement in Athletics at Daventry AAC. The Shield will presented to the best Long Jump Performance at the County Championship weekend.
Appropriately this year it was won by Daventry AAC Athlete Cleo Martin-Evans whose long jump in the WU20 category of 5.65m was a Championship Best performance.

3 Northamptonshire Athletes took part in the Warwickshire County Champs in events not offered at Corby :
They were: MU20 3000m George Thompson (Northampton AC) 11:25.4
U17 M 1500 S/c Arthur Tilt (Rugby & Northampton AC) 4:45.71
U15 B 3000m Walk Nate Tilt (Rugby & Northampton AC) 24:54.87 All earned Gold Medals
