After the annual Track & Field Championships the Northants AA presents 3 awards (trophies) to athletes considered to have achieved the best performance in each of the categories over the Championship weekend.
The 2021 winners were
Best Female : Lily Carlaw (Harrow) U17 Discus 40.29 metres. It is worth noting that this throw has only been surpassed by herself and one other athlete within the UK in 2021. It will also be the fourth year in succession that Lily has won the trophy
Best Male: Phil Melling (Rugby & Northampton) Vet Men 3000m in 9:20.7. This ranks Phil 10th in the UK V45 category for 2021.
Best U17 Field : Katie Gibson (Kettering) Hammer 45.55 metres . This was a new Championship best performance
